In Desire and Consequence, you must find out the truth about your past and uncover the secrets of your companions who do not easily wish to divulge them. Only then can you navigate the lure of desires and defeat the obstacles this magical but treacherous world has in store. There are no wrong choices, but each come with consequences in a story that can end in a multitude of ways.

Immersive visuals
Experience special illustrations in every chapter, as well as close-ups, zoomed-out sprites, and dynamic character expressions for all interactions. The visual effects and animations bring the world to life, which makes the game feel immersive.
Every choice matters
Your decisions shape the story and each choice leads to unique dialogue and consequences. The game offers opportunities to make choices approximately every two minutes to give you a sense of autonomy.
Character customization
Personalize your experience by choosing your character’s name and pronouns (She, He, or They). The decisions you make along the way will shape your character’s journey and determine who they become.
Romanceable options
You may pursue romance with 6+ unique characters, each with their own backstories and secrets that intertwine with the main storyline. Meet the first four love interests in the free demo!
DEVELOPMENT
Desire and Consequence is heavily inspired by my love of webtoons, manga, and anime, as well as classic fantasy worlds like The Lord of the Rings, and all things nerdy and fun. The story aims to offer players meaningful agency and compelling romantic and moral dilemmas, like those in Baldur’s Gate 3 (my favorite game).
