Desire and Consequence is a mysterious romantasy adventure visual novel where your choices take you on different paths with over six romanceable characters in a branching storyline. You must find the truth about your past, discover the secrets of each character, and navigate the lure of power, romance, and their consequences.
With a choice made approximately every two minutes and special illustrations in every chapter, the game creates an immersive experience that reveals more with every playthrough.
The free demo is planned to launch in 2027. It includes the first chapters where the player meets four of the game’s love interests.

Developer
Desire and Consequence is being made by a solo developer who is heavily inspired by a love of webtoons, manga, and anime, as well as classic fantasy worlds like The Lord of the Rings, and all things nerdy and fun. The story aims to offer players meaningful agency and romantic and moral dilemmas, much like those in Baldur’s Gate 3. The game is produced by Studio Evä, and it aims to entertain and inspire players with a unique narrative and beautiful visuals.
